So in 1919, a storage tank in Boston just…… gave up. -It exploded, and sent a 15 foot wave of molasses through the streets at 35 miles per hour . 21 people drowned in syrup.Buildings came down. Horses disappeared into it.The city smelled like a pancake for 35 years , and Nobody was happy about it.
