When it comes to rules at my school, what immediately stands out is the strict regulation on students’ appearance. From my perspective, this rule is really rigid and, to some extent, it backfires. We’re required to wear uniforms, and every detail—like hair and nails—is strictly controlled. For example, we have to keep our hair tied up, and boys’ hair can’t exceed about one inch. In my view, it is a plausible way to maintain order, but at the same time, it stifles individuality. I believe the ori
