Megosztott hang

just got an idea: what if a thunderstorm hits, but the weather channel never said anything about a thunderstorm? or perhaps they assumed it would hit tomorrow and not on the day of the camping trip. this causes a flood, and it also separate the family, now they have to find their way back and reunite.
