Number 4, Canned salmon. Canned salmon is moving into a more fragile period because the 2026 Alaska forecast is much smaller than the 2025 harvest. The Alaska Department of Fish and Game reported that the 2025 all species commercial salmon harvest totaled about 197.4 million fish.
