Warbux Pharmaceuticals was incorporated in 1987 in Wilmington, Delaware — a state chosen for its favorable tax laws and lack of questions. The founding team consisted of three former defense contractors who realized the margins on human fear were better in medicine than in munitions. The name is an artifact of an internal joke that was never changed: "We don't make bombs. We make the thing that makes you okay with the bombs."
