By the time the investigation reached its final stage… there was nothing left to find. Every room had been examined more than once. Every object had been documented, measured, and analyzed. Every possible entry point had been tested… and every theory… carefully considered. And yet… the conclusion remained the same. There was no conclusion. No clear sequence of events. No evidence of how it began… and no indication of how it ended. Just a house… preserved in time. Quiet. Still. Unchanged. Except
