Marilyn Monroe was born on June 1, 1926, in Los Angeles. Her real name was Norma Jeane Mortenson. Her childhood was difficult because she did not grow up in a stable family and often lived in foster homes and orphanages. Her mother Gladys Baker had mental health problems, and her father was unknown. She did not have a long formal education and started working at a young age. Later, she was discovered as a model and took acting classes. In the 1950s, she became one of the most famous actres
