Or something that looked like me. Same height. Same face. Same clothes. But wrong. Its head was slightly tilted. Its smile… Too wide. Too still. It didn’t blink. Didn’t breathe. Just stared. At me. Then it spoke. Without moving its mouth. “You opened the door.”
