In the aftermath of the battle the world is left reeling from the realization that mutants are real and that they possess the power to either destroy or save humanity and the political debate becomes even more heated although the immediate threat of the registration act is pushed back because of the X-Men's bravery. Back at the mansion Professor Xavier finally wakes up from his coma thanks to Jean’s medical expertise and he finds Logan recovering in the infirmary where he finally gives the drift
