In a world that constantly asks us to be useful, efficient, and successful, have you ever wondered—what if something seems useless? This question first came to me when I read a story from the Chinese philosopher Zhuangzi. In the story, there was a huge tree. Its trunk was twisted, its wood was rough, and it was considered completely useless. Carpenters ignored it because it couldn’t be turned into furniture or tools. At first, I thought, “Then what’s the point of this tree?” But Zhuangzi saw
