Fixtures The places where we use water are called fixtures. The toilet is a fixture. The sink is a fixture. The bathtub and shower are fixtures. Each fixture needs a supply pipe to bring clean water in. And each fixture needs a drain pipe to take wastewater out. Toilets are special. They have a cistern. The cistern holds water.
