I hate when people say “just stop bullying,” because it’s obviously not that simple. It’s like telling someone with a smoking addiction to just quit—it doesn’t work like that. While some bullies may also be victims, that isn’t always the case, and I think it’s important to look at both sides of a conflict. For example, in Grade 7 there was a guy in my class—I’ll call him Jamison. He was one of the most popular boys in our school at the time. My friend and I had just come out as lesbians (we wer
