There's a country that took land from the United States mainland without a single bullet, tank, or war. Sounds impossible, right? But it actually happened. It all started with a border that was supposed to be clear, a nice, clean line drawn along a river. But this river had other plans. Every few years it moved. Floods and even small shifts in the soil. And every time it changed direction, the border quietly changed, too. One morning, parts of US land suddenly ended up on the other side. Fields
