The last of the light slipped away behind the trees. Darkness filled the bush. Completely dark. Tom sat still, listening to the night sounds growing around him. Every little noise seemed louder now. He wrapped his arms tighter around his legs, trying to stay calm. But deep down, he knew— He was going to have to spend the night out here.
