If someone interrupts you while you’re speaking ,don’t talk louder.
Raising your voice doesn’t make you heard ,it makes you reactive.
Instead, stop and look at them,Let the silence hang for a second,
When they finish, say calmly , “Are you finished? Cool, as I was saying…”
That one sentence flips the balance of respect.In psychology, it’s called assertive pause:
people realize they overstepped, and you didn’t even raise your tone,Control the moment , not the volume.
