This story gets passed around a lot online because of how normal it starts. It supposedly happened to a college student in the Midwest around 2016. A guy named Daniel was home alone for the weekend. His parents had gone out of town, and he stayed behind because he had a big exam on Monday. Their house sat at the edge of town. Behind the backyard was a huge stretch of woods. Around 3:17 AM, Daniel woke up. He didn’t know why at first. The house was quiet. Then he heard it. Knock. Knock. Kno
