Good evening Vancouver. This evening we’ll be speaking with Yumiko Watanabe, whose latest collection of short stories, entitled “Birds of a Feather”, recently won the Marigold Prize. Her stories are based on her own experiences as the child of a famous musician and brilliant scientist. Ms. Watanabe was born in Tokyo, but her parents’ remarkable career took the family all over the world. And viewers who saw her last appearance on our show heard some wonderful stories of the years she spent growin
