I found an old jacket in the back of my closet that I never wore. It wasn’t mine. It belonged to my older brother. He left it the day he moved out after our last argument. We never spoke again. For years, I couldn’t throw it away… and I couldn’t wear it either. It just stayed there. Silent. Waiting for something I couldn’t name. One winter night, the cold bit harder than usual.
