For about ten years, things went perfectly for Alpha. But then it became clear that the Vietnam War wasn’t going as planned for the U.S. And with that, the demand for new jackets dropped. So in the 1970s, Alpha reacted—changed a few details and started selling the MA-1 in four new colors to civilians. Yeah, man—those colors are legendary. That red one? If you had that, you were already killing it. I personally was never a fan of red or blue jackets. For me, it had to be green or maybe gray. At t
