At exactly 2:17 a.m., the walls started whispering my name. The first time, I thought I was dreaming. “...Alex…” Soft. Faint. Like it was coming from inside the walls. The next night, it happened again. Louder. “Alex… come closer…” I pressed my ear to the wall. Nothing. Then a small tapping sound. Tap… tap… tap… It moved—traveling along the wall, leading me to the closet. My hands shook as I opened it. Inside, nothing but darkness. Then the whisper came again—this time right next to my ear
