The iPhone 5c was Apple’s attempt to create a “more affordable” iPhone. It came in bright colors, had a plastic body, and was positioned as a fun, accessible version of the iPhone 5. The strategy sounds logical: lower the price, reach more people. But Apple made a critical mistake. It wasn’t actually cheap. Yes, it was cheaper than the flagship, but still expensive compared to true budget phones. So it got stuck in an awkward position — too pricey for budget buyers, not premium enough for high-e
