What to Do in an Emergency “In an emergency, remain calm and perform SLAM — Stop, Look, Assess, Manage. Call the nearest emergency number for fire, ambulance, or police assistance. Never move an injured person unless they are in immediate danger. In cases of suspected electrical shock, do not touch the victim — switch off the power first and get help immediately.”
