But when it warms up, it comes back to life as if nothing had happened. Meet “the Wood Frog”, it is a remarkable North American amphibian known for surviving winters by freezing solid. Its heart stops, breathing stops, and brain activities completely stops. That’s not even the craziest part, it can do this for more than seven months in temperatures of up to
