They copy real government wording, use official‑looking numbers, and even spoof caller ID so it looks like the call is coming from the Canada Revenue Agency. Narrator:   In Canada alone, more than six hundred million dollars was reported lost to fraud in 2024. Experts believe the real number is much higher because most victims never report it. Fraud‑related cybercrime has nearly doubled in the last few years.
