As Logan lunges toward the machine the entire structure of the Statue of Liberty begins to groan under the massive magnetic pressure and Magneto tries to crush him with everything he has but the rest of the team manages to break free just in time to provide cover while Logan endures the agonizing pain of the radiation tearing at his cells. Cyclops uses a perfectly aimed optic blast to knock Magneto off balance and give Logan the opening he needs to dive into the heart of the device where he uses
