The glowing eyes in the darkness did not blink. They simply watched Lina. The underground chamber fell completely silent, as if even the air itself was holding its breath. Lina’s fingers tightened around the ancient book. The eyes slowly moved closer. Out of the shadows stepped a tall, shadow-like figure formed from swirling dark mist and faint glowing markings. Its shape shifted constantly, as if it wasn’t fully part of the world anymore. The voice echoed again, deep and ancient. “Keeper… you c
