The Federal Open Market Committee voted 11-1 to leave the federal rates funds rate target range at 3.50-3.75%, as widely expected by market consensus. Governor Stephen Miran dissented, and put the case for a further quarter point reduction. In a statement, the Fed said economic activity has been expanding at a solid pace, but implications of developments in the Middle East for the US
