King’s Island—an island that we had no choice but to call home. We all came one by one, possessing no recollection of what led us here. What’s weirder is no one knows how we entered the island, and no one knows the way out. No family, no home—just an abandoned island and each other. I plunge headfirst towards the surface of the water, immediately feeling the burn from water entering my lungs. My legs kicked desperately trying to keep myself afloat. Ahead, a green mass clumped together on top o
