A man named Mehran Karimi Nasseri got stuck in an airport after losing his documents, and couldn’t enter any country or return home. What was meant to be a short delay turned into 18 years living inside the terminal. He slept on benches, washed in bathrooms, and survived on airport food. Every day he watched thousands of travelers leave while he stayed in one place. The airport became his entire world, a place of constant movement where he couldn’t move at all.
