A man once traveled to Europe and lost his documents on the way. Because of that, he couldn’t enter any country and couldn’t return either. He became stuck inside an airport with no way out. His name was Mehran Karimi Nasseri, and what was supposed to be a short delay turned into something much bigger. Days passed, then months, then years. The airport, which is normally full of people coming and going, became the only place he was allowed to stay. He slept on benches, washed in airport bathrooms
