UNIT 2: ELECTRIC CURRENT AND VOLTAGE INTRODUCTION Two important ideas in electronics are current and voltage. Current is how much electricity flows. Voltage is the force that pushes the current. You need both to make a device work. STORY 1: What is Current? Current is the flow of electrons through a wire. We measure current in amperes, or amps (A). One amp means one coulomb of electrons passing a point each second. Current can be direct (DC) or alternating (AC). DC flows in one direction. Ba
