The Dragon Boat Festival falls on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. It is one of China’s four major traditional festivals. According to legend, it started during the Warring States period. Qu Yuan, a poet from the State of Chu, drowned himself in the river for his country. The local people rowed boats to search for him a
