One cold Snowy winter in 1862 an Injured Soldier was running Limping through the snow. When he got to the medical Tents, He lay down and get his leg Amputated. A few days earlier, he was hit by a Cannon ball, it hit his leg and he lost his leg. When he returned to Battle, he watched many Soldiers Die as he ran through the bloody trampled snow. After the war in 1865, he struggled with PTSD and many other disorders he had from War. When he described the War, he said "War was hell and shall always"
