I really hated celery and when I was 15 I lied and said I was allergic. This has followed me my whole life since.
My lovely mother in law makes me separate stuffing every thanksgiving without celery. My boyfriend always checks ingredient lists for me to make sure. I haven't had a Caesar publicly. And I love them. Now my mom thinks she's allergic too.
I'm in too deep. It's been decades and it spiralled. My only recourse is to slowly become not allergic over time. Now it's only raw celery..
