God promised Noah that He would never again destroy the whole earth with a flood. And to seal that promise, God placed a rainbow in the sky. The rainbow became a sign of God’s covenant. A reminder that God keeps His word. Imagine that moment. The storm clouds clearing. The sunlight breaking through. And a rainbow stretching across the sky. After the storm came peace. After judgment came mercy. After destruction came hope. That rainbow was more than beautiful colors. It was a message.
