Without requesting additional units, the trooper retrieved a breaching tool from his patrol vehicle and made entry into the residence. The trooper proceeded to clear the interior of the unit. Upon reaching a bathroom area, the trooper encountered the subject, at which time an officer-involved shooting occurred after the subject was observed pointing a firearm.
