At 3:12 AM, my phone buzzed. A notification from my security camera: “Motion detected in bedroom.” That was strange. Because I was lying in bed. Confused, I opened the camera app. The screen showed my room. My bed. My window. Everything looked normal. Then I noticed something move beside my pillow. Someone was standing right next to my bed. Watching me sleep. Slowly… they leaned closer to the camera.
