They met after school.
For a moment, everything felt like before. Same place. Same people. Same silence between them.
Ash looked at him and said softly,
“I miss us.”
Mark didn’t respond.
She continued,
“I don’t know what happened… but I want things to go back to how they were.”
Mark finally spoke.
Calmm, Straight ,Cold.
“They can’tt.”
Ash was shocked!
But Mark had already made his decision...
