of tons of sediment. Every enclosure. Every pillar. Buried by the people who built it — or their descendants. Preserved, or hidden, or sealed. We do not know which. The act was total. Was it a temple? A map? A warning? Someone decided this place should be inaccessible. And whatever their reason, they succeeded for eleven thousand years.
