Pāhonoa te oro

I wasn’t supposed to notice anything. That’s the part that bothers me the most. It started small—like most things people ignore. My neighbor, the guy in 3B, would take his trash out at weird times. Not late at night weird. More like… off-schedule weird. Tuesday mornings at 6:12 AM, every single week, even though trash pickup is Thursday. At first, I just thought he was obsessive. Then I realized something else. Every time I ran into him in the hallway, he’d hesitate before speaking—like he was c
