Pāhonoa te oro

I’m the oldest. My mom had me when she was 18, and my dad was only 16. He left not long after I was born, so it was just me and her for a while. Then came my first stepdad… and for about ten years, my life turned into something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. He was abusive in ways a child should never experience. After him, there was another stepdad. He didn’t hurt me the same way, but it was obvious he just didn’t like me. I always felt like I didn’t belong in my own home. My mom didn’t make it
