Jessie’s jaw tightened. Another boy. Out there. Alive. For a moment, he almost stopped completely. Almost turned. Almost thought about it. But then Sarah came back into his mind. And everything else disappeared. He moved on. The supply tent came into view again. Crates stacked high. Medical gear mixed in with everything else. This was it. Jessie slipped closer, staying just outside direct sight. Two soldiers nearby. Talking. Distracted. He waited. Watched their timing.
