Number 1, The Raincoat Killer
In London during the 1950s and 60s, John Christie murdered several women in and around his home at 10 Rillington Place. What made the case especially horrifying was that one victim’s body was hidden in the house itself for years while another man was wrongly convicted and hanged for a murder Christie had actually committed. The case became a major British miscarriage of justice and still feels unreal because of how long Christie was able to hide what he had done.
