Umsindo ohlukanisiwe

I checked the photo again. And I saw it clearly for the first time. A faint red eye reflected in one window. Tiny… almost imperceptible… but unmistakable. My stomach tightened. I tried to convince myself it was nothing. Its just a Normal Day I tried to ignore the uneasiness. Work was ordinary. Friends laughed. My office desk looked normal. Life went on. But the photo lingered in the back of my mind.
