Pāhonoa te oro

Years pass. Grace is healed – not perfect, but healed. They build a life together on a piece of land that was once barren. Now it is a lush farm. They build a beautiful o house on the hill – warm cream walls, a red tin roof, flowers in the garden. Grace is pregnant with their second child. Their firstborn, a daughter.
