So last month our school randomly announced a new rule: Phones are banned. Completely. Not “keep them in your bag.” Not “don’t use them in class.” Just banned. If a teacher sees your phone, they take it immediately and your parents have to pick it up. Which is already ridiculous, but what made it worse was the reason why.
