So last month our school randomly announced a new rule:
Phones are banned. Completely.
Not “keep them in your bag.”
Not “don’t use them in class.”
Just banned.
If a teacher sees your phone, they take it immediately and your parents have to pick it up.
Which is already ridiculous, but what made it worse was the reason why.
Because when they first announced it, they didn’t explain anything.
They just said:
“Due to recent incidents, phones are no longer allowed.”
And that was it.
So obvio
