Using Navigation Patterns
It’s much easier to know where you are and where you’re going if you follow a predetermined pattern instead of swimming about randomly. This might sound restrictive, but you actually see more than you would by wandering aimlessly. You use your limited gas and bottom time more effectively when you use a pattern suited to the dive site.
