Pāhonoa te oro

If he had to choose one word to describe the end of the world, he would have chosen the word ugly, even though he had never even seen the world as beautiful. During years of wandering, the world had become uglier the further time had passed and the further he had walked. Everything around him was slowly, but inevitably, decaying and dying.
