Pāhonoa te oro

Tallchief continued to travel and dance, but she did not like being away from her family, especially her child. She stopped dancing to stay at home with her daughter. Later, Maria Tallchief started a ballet school to help other talented youngsters develop their dance skills. She wanted other girls to love ballet as much as she did.
